Can You afford the EU?
Even if you can, do you want to pay?
-We pay the EU £45,000,000 per day, soon to be £50million.
-The Tax Payers’ Alliance calculates that EU membership costs each Briton £2000 per year, when all the real additional costs are included.
-The EU is wide open to fraud. Its own accountants have refused to sign off the audit for 14 years! Imagine if this happened to a business here.
-And the EU audit only touches 20% of what the EU spends. The 40% spent on the Common Agricultural Policy, CAP, and the 40% spent on the Infrastructure budget do not even have an audit trail.
-It will get worse. A far bigger budget is in the offing. And the EU Financial Directives will kill off the City of London. The CAP is to have more of our money, too.
-Did you think the expenses scandal was serious? Then remember: it costs £365000 per year to keep an MP in Westminster, all up. It costs £1,860,000 to keep an MEP in Brussels, 5 times as much; and even more useless!
