WE SHOULD GET OUT OF THE EU - QUICKLY !

 

§        Did you know that, from the start, the EU has been trying to eliminate our democracy at Local and National level? One of the tools in use is Regionalisation. Brussels pays us back some of our own money via Regions, only if Regions do what they are told by the EU. When we Get Out, we can spend our money the way we choose, not the way the Unelected EU chooses.

§        There are Regional Authorities in the UK: in London, in the Southwest, South East, East, East Midlands, Wales, Northwest, North East, Scotland, Northern Ireland. These have offices in Brussels, and other countries, but not in London ! Not only that, but our government has opened Government Offices in these regions, too. Who pays for these Regions and GOs? We do. The only way to stop paying is to GET OUT OF EU.

§        Some projected Regions cross National Borders. Transmanche, for example, will include Kent and bits of France and Belgium. These regional areas  are to be funded by our money through the EU, but with no reference to the UK government. They will have their own laws, and report only to the Unlelected Bureaucracy in the EU and the European Court of Justice (so called). Many more Border Regions are planned, including Gibraltar joined to bits of Spain and Morocco! Nations will vanish unless this is stopped.

§        Our own Town Council and County Council choose to send money and staff to the Regional Authority. Guess who pays? We do. These councils are paying for their own obliteration: the EU model has our town represented by one appointed person on a Regional Council. How to stop this? Only one way: GET  OUT of the whole undemocratic EU process.

§         When the North East voted not to have an Elected Regional Assembly, can you guess how the government and the EU saw this? As a vote to have an Unelected Assembly. This continues to spend our money and destroy democracy the EU way. There is just one way to stop them.
