THE EU AND THE REST OF US

THE EU AND THE CONSERVATIVES

1. Ted Heath took us into the EU, telling us that it was a Free Trade Agreement only, with no loss of sovereignty; though he later openly admitted on the record to Peter Sissons: ‘’Yes, I knew even then that it would lead to the full federal Europe, Euro and all’’.

2. Maggie Thatcher signed the Single European Act, which made us European Citizens. She said, after retirement, that it was the single thing she regretted the most, but that she was deceived. By whom was she deceived? The ‘grandees’ of the Conservative Party, Clarke, Heseltine, Howe, Hurd, Howard, Lawson, Major, Patten and so on.

3. John Major signed the Maastricht Treaty, a deliberate step taking us much closer to European Federation, with many transfers of Power to the EU. What did Major and his henchmen call the few Tories who wanted to resist further integration? The Bastards; a clear indication of what he thought of us.

4. Cameron and Hague make anti-EU noises. They call for a referendum on the Constitution/Treaty if Lisbon is not ratified; but refuse to say what they would do, or how they would do it, when the inevitable result is obtained. They refuse to have the real referendum, In/Out, which means they are only offering the status quo, already unsatisfactory. Hague has said that if the referendum meant Out Of EU, then he would rather not have it. The Tory Party leadership is fully dedicated to the EU. The Tories are the disease, not the cure.

5. Cameron, (Cameronblair, as he is called, the big cheese), has made it clear that anyone who pledges ‘’Better Off Out’’ will never have a job in his party, so we are told.

THE EU AND THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS

1. The Lib Dems are gung-ho for complete immersion into the EU, Euro and all.

2. The very name of their party, Lib DEMOCRAT, is a contradiction of their policy of giving away the sovereignty of our Country to the European Union, a ‘Post-Democratic’ organisation where the laws are made by an un-elected bureaucracy headed by un-elected EU Commissioners (such as Brittain, Kinnock, Patten, Mandelson, to name a few stars).

3. The Lib Dems could have prevented ratification of the Lisbon Treaty/Constitution, and kept their manifesto promise to have a referendum. But this is what they did: like Labour, they lied, saying the Lisbon Treaty was different from the European Constitution, and voted with Labour to allow the Treaty to be ratified by the Commons; but to get round their promise of a referendum on the Treaty/Constitution, they substituted a demand for an In-Out referendum instead; and all of their MPs stormed out of the Commons when they did not get this In-Out referendum. But in the Lords, the Lib Dems were offered this same In-Out referendum, and this time they turned it down: because in the Lords, they would have been successful; the very thing they did not want. Their party had voted two opposite ways on the same issue, to ensure the Treaty/Constitution was ratified. Their two-faced deceit is breathtaking.

THE EU AND THE LABOUR PARTY

1. Why did Brown, who, it appears, hates Mandelson and everything he stood for, invite him back into government as a Lord and make him effectively the Deputy Leader? Why did Mandelson, who is 100% behind Blair, accept to come back to work ‘under’ Brown and, effectively, keep him in Power?

2. Brown, we know, is desperate; but is there another agenda? Well, probably, yes: Blair gave away 3 Billion Pounds per year of our rebate, to buy the favour of the French and Germans, and give himself the chance of becoming the First President of Europe. Does he still want the job? Yes, that is no secret. If Brown falls, as most of his party and almost all the country would like, there will be an election. If there is, Labour is unlikely to win, so there will be a referendum. The referendum would destroy the Treaty/Constitution, and with it, Blair’s chances. So, from the Mandelson perspective, it is essential to keep Brown in power until the Irish are forced to re-vote, and the Treaty/Constitution is ratified. This trickery has been described as the biggest assault on democracy in living memory.

THE EU AND DEMOCRACY

1. The two things do not mix. The power in the EU rests with the Commission, an unelected institution of 170,000 bureaucrats led by unelected Commissioners. It is a ‘post-democratic’ government. A veneer of democracy is painted over the EU by the Parliament, which rubber-stamps Commission Directives. The EU is a copy of the USSR, with its Politburo and its Duma.

2. If the EU were democratic, it would welcome referendums. 77% of Germans want a referendum on the Treaty/Constitution; but they will not get one. Nor will we, as things stand.

3. The EU has control over much of our life, 80% of our laws. Our Parliament barely looks at these before passing them into British law.

THE UNITED KINGDOM AND DEMOCRACY

1. We think that we elect an MP to represent us. We think wrong. We elect an MP, who goes to Westminster and is under control of party whips and party control. The MPs then represent party policy, which they thrust down our throats.

2. For example, a certain constituency has about 70% of its citizens wanting to Get Out Of The EU, and the sitting MP seems to agree with this view. The sitting MP is a member of the Freedom Association, and has dabbled with the ‘Better Off Out’ pledge. But he cannot pledge as he would like, because of party pressure.

** THE TREATY/CONSTITUTION **

1. There are 4 differences between the Constitution and the Lisbon Treaty: the name ‘National Flag’; the name ‘National Anthem’; the name ‘The EU Foreign Minister’; and the name ‘Treaty’ instead of ‘Constitution’. The Constitution makes the EU into a Nation and the UK a part of it.

2. Of these 4 differences, the words ‘National Flag’ and ‘National Anthem’ have been voted back in; the ‘High Commissioner for International Affairs’ has, de facto, become the ‘EU Foreign Minister’ again. So now the only difference is the name, ‘Treaty’ instead of ‘Constitution’.

UKIP AND THE EU

UKIP is non-racist and non-sectarian. UKIP has a wide range of policies, but the central plank is to stop wasting £45 million per day on the EU. UKIP wants a return to Democracy locally and nationally. UKIP is the only hope of retaining our freedom and re-instating democracy.
