Vehicle Number PlatesThere is a sneaky bit of EU advertising going on. In Halfords, you can buy a regular black and white GB sticker for your car; but it costs 50 pence more than a similar blue and gold and white sticker with GB inside the Star Fence. Why? Three colours cost more than black and white. Are the EU/GB stickers subsidised? Or do Halfords so want to plug the EU that they volunteer a discount for flying the EU flag? Can some-one tell me please? In a similar vein, all the DISABLED badges for cars carry the EU fence of stars and give the appearance that the holders are allowed privileges granted by the EU. Have a look at rows of disabled badges in cars in town centres, all advertising the EU visibly in their windscreens. Turn these on their heads: put UK OUT or OUT OF EU stickers over the EU fence of stars symbol. If you know disabled badge carriers, show them how their handicap is being used to advertise the EU. Try to persuade people to reverse this, please. We need every bit of visibility we can get, if we really want to leave the EU.
Please ask for our tiny UK OUT stickers. Please click on OUT OF EU STICKERS. |
